Our Story
Esters is an authentic tropical cocktail bar opened by two best friends Jessica Everett and Suzanne Navarro in Wailuku, Maui. Our outdoor patio offers amazing views of the IAO Valley. We serve local farm to table inspired small plates and pupu, classic cocktails, tiki drinks, craft spirits, rum, amaro, mezcal tequila, wine, and beer. Join us for rose and daiquiris during Happy Hour. If you like Pina Coladas you might think you have found the best bar on Maui.
Jessica Everett
Jessica Everett began her restaurant career at the age of 14. Since then she has worked every position in the front of house from busser to manager. Most recently she has spent the past nine years entrenching herself in the vibrant bar scene of San Francisco. She has worked for two of the most successful restaurant groups in the city, and has spent the last six years setting up and/or managing the bar programs
Suzanne Navarro
Suzanne Navarro graduated from the French Culinary Institute in New York in 2002.Suzanne has worked in the back of the house in Michelin star and award-winning restaurants in New York and San Francisco. and also worked in the front of the house at one of San Francisco's most popular bars. As a bartender she has found herself behind the stick in some of America’s top bars such as Sweet Liberty (awarded best new American bar and best high volume bar in America) in Miami, and Three Dots and a Dash (a high volume James Beard award-winning tiki bar) in Chicago.
